Ryan is a nationally recognized artist having attained several accomplishments. Ryan won a National Gold Award and an American Visions Award in the National Scholastic Arts Program from 1998-2001, having been presented awards at The Kennedy Center in Washington DC and his artwork has been on display in the Corcoran Museum of Art also in Washington DC. This artwork was then showcased in a year-long tour around the country. Ryan has also had one of his pieces published in the book, “You Are Here, This Is Now. The Best Young Writers and Artists in America.” A few more of his personal accomplishments include: Having been featured on the front cover of the Youngstown, Ohio Metro Monthly publication. He was also chosen as one of the top 25 artists in Ohio the 2001 Governors Art Awards in Columbus. His award winning artwork was then chosen as the logo for the 2002 Governor Art Awards in Columbus, Ohio. His art background has also included several other awards and accomplishments. Ryan attended Youngstown State University majoring in art technology and graphic design. He currently lives in Mineral Ridge, Ohio with his wife and two children. He enjoys drawing in his leisure time.
